Aviom introduces new audio networking gear

Personal monitor mixing technology manufacturer Aviom is now shipping its Pro64 series of audio networking products.

Aviom has stated that that Pro64 kicks off a new era at the company and that the product line represents a sea change in how audio will be transported in applications such as corporate AV, broadcast, education and more. Pro64 products deliver the flexibility of a digital network, combined with the audio performance and simplicity of an analogue wire. All Pro64 products deliver audio with low latency by virtue of the company's A-Net audio transport protocol.

Every Aviom Pro64 system is a true network, designed specifically to deliver optimal performance in distributing multiple channels of audio to as many locations as desired. As a true network, a Pro64 system can distribute audio without being restricted by the physical locations of inputs and outputs or the direction of the signal flow. In Auto Mode, up to 64 channels (24 bits, 48kHz) are distributed throughout the entire network. Channels can be input anywhere in the system and output everywhere, regardless of network topology and layout.

In this first wave, Aviom is now shipping the 6416i Input Module, the 6416o Output Module, the MH10 Merger Hub and the ASI A-Net Systems Interface. The Pro64 Digital I/O Module and Mic Input Module will ship later this year.
