Irdeto to partner with Alticast, LG and Kaon on global IPTV solution
Irdeto - a provider of content security for digital TV, IPTV and mobile networks - is partnering with Alticast - an interactive middleware solution provider for digital broadcasting services - as well as LG-Nortel and Korea-based set-top box manufacturer Kaon Media, to deliver an advanced, end-to-end IPTV solution worldwide.

Alticast provides middleware and Interactive TV application services like EPG, VOD and multi-user network games, and LG-Nortel and Kaon Media are both set-top box suppliers in the digital TV and IPTV market.
The Irdeto IPTV SoftClient is a software security client for the protection of broadcast, on-demand and PVR content on IP networks. Irdeto’s software-based solution uses patented technologies to provide smart card-level security. The solution is integrated with a variety of industry-leading set top boxes, VOD servers and middleware solutions.
