Irdeto - a provider of content security for digital TV, IPTV and mobile networks - is partnering with Alticast - an interactive middleware solution provider for digital broadcasting services - as well as LG-Nortel and Korea-based set-top box manufacturer Kaon Media, to deliver an advanced, end-to-end IPTV solution worldwide. report

Harris aims to become the “One” 
At its pre-NAB industry briefing in New York, Harris Corporation announced its intention to market itself as “One” as part of an effort to show that it touches virtually every part of the broadcast workflow, from graphics tools to transmission equipment, with the notable exception of cameras. report
